The Penguin Purse is coming along stitch by stitch. I have finished the purse

and now I am working on the penguin.

The head has a certain slant that did not look authentic doing it amigurumi style, so I had to decrease in “rogue form”.

I have officially broken some amigurumi rules but it was done all in the name of art and it is my first toy so I hope you can forgive me.

The handles are not sewed on yet because I had to move it several times. Tip: do not crochet or sew on your handles until you are sure where you are going to put it, especially if it is a round purse, that alone will save you 20 minutes of your precious time.

Soon I will be able to post step by step of the completed purse. It is a little purse but it remains the only project that I have unraveled more times than I care to share. It is that bad.

Well I will like to finish on a happier note: It is inspiring to read all the crochet addicts blogs. I have learned a lot and marveled at all the beautiful creations and tips, Thanks Fellow Artisans!!!!

  1. I can’t wait to see this purse. Break those amigurumi rules! Really, the only rules you must follow in that sort of thing is…yarn over and finish off.
