POPCORN/PUFF/CLUSTER

Popcorn: it gives a nice rounded surface to your project and it is a joy to work when you are not into ordinary and everyday,

these are google images of the stitch, and you can visit You Tube for the live demo.

Puff: the same goes for puff or cluster stitch, I use it to add a certain “regal” feel to my tablecloths, please try it.

Cluster: the cluster I use a lot too, they are similar but still distinct in appearance, and easy to learn.

I hope you have a lovely day, and try a new stitch today okay?? See You Soon…

  1. I need someone with lots of patience to show me. I can not follow drawings or on line demo’s. I don’t know why, it just looks incredibly difficult. I crochet challenged.

  4. Yes, nice pattern. I’m in the middle of a puff/cluster baby blanket, that I can’t seem to finish yet!

  5. I love making popcorn and cluster stitches; just recently started making puff stitches and haven’t decided if I like it! I also love the bobble stitch; similar to the popcorn but don’t have to remove the hook. Thanks for sharing 🙂

  7. Interestingly Jan Eaton calls the stitch in your top picture a ‘bobble’ maybe it’s another UK/US thing.
