RETRO COLLAR

I like the way this collar worked up fast. It was almost mindless crochet, no pattern to follow, just did what comes naturally. 05142013 002It is a gift for a little 7-year-old girl who likes to play dress up. I hope she wears it with  T-shirt and jeans, I love that combination.

Collars make a simple blouse or T-shirt so fashionable. The color is a burnt orange, mixed with a bright happy yellow.

I like using picots so I added it all around for a nice finished look. The only thing I am going to redo is the tie, I am going to make it longer, so she can tie it by herself.

This is my project for the Made It Challenge.  Have you entered yet?

This competition is like training for the olympics, the competition is once a month but the training is daily and you have artisans from all over the world competing for one prize. If you are competitive by nature, then this is where it’s at 🙂

Well this is all for today, stay focused…See You Soon…

  6. I’ve only seen narrower collars, so yours is something different. It’s a great idea, and any little girl with an incipient sense of style will love the colours 🙂
