PRACTICAL VS FRIVOLOUS

I was thinking about the virtue of being practical in my crochet gift ideas as opposed to frivolous.

When I have a project in mind the first thing I think of is if it is practical, I want it to be useful in some way.  I really don’t want to see it maltreated or thrown in a corner, because it is my baby.

So here are some more ideas for Dads: (google images)

Have a great day today!!!

  3. You have some excellent examples of practical frivolity here! I love the striped tie…hate the colors, love the tie. Beer/coffee/hot cocoa cozies are always a win-win. Got kids? When in doubt, the gifts should be “from the kids.” That way, he HAS to use them!
p.s….in my experience, pearl cottons in that size to match bedspread cotton, work best for ties. Takes a long time, but you get a beautiful tie!
