Monday is here!!

It is a slow start for me, but I will pick up some speed as the hours melt away, that sounds poetic, huh??

My recycled Couch is coming along.  I am 50% certain I am frogging some parts. Why, you may ask, well because the nice circular circles are getting less rounded.

That is how I feel right at this moment, but, due to my dislike of unraveling, I may just try to work it into the design.

I am going to try blocking with a little starch, maybe that will work, don’t you think?

This couch has pillows that are fairly large and if I leave them this size they will hide my mandala circles, so I am going to make them smaller.

I am leaving the hardest part for last: the arms. That is going to take a lot of sewing first, before I even start to cover them with grannies.

So that is my quick update on Couch and hopefully I will get her ready in no time, I love working with chunky yarn 🙂

Well this is a quick post, and don’t forget to keep practicing the broomstick stitch. I finally found baby jumbo hook so I will show him to you in another post.

Have a great Monday!! See You Soon…

  1. I absolutely adore the mandalas on that couch! The mixture of grannies and circle motifs is awesome!!!!

  2. I think it looks great – wouldn’t change a thing!

I think it’ll be just fine, I wouldn’t worry about frogging it personally 🙂

  4. I wouldn’t concern myself with the circle situation. I think it adds to the whole ‘feel’ of the finish!!! Besides, stitchery, such as this, seems to take on different personalities as it grows/matures with time!!! I totally am in love with it!!! Hugs to you!!!!….

  5. The coffee would look even more inviting next to the couch when it’s ready 😀

  6. You have patience and you’re doing well. Be A Blessing because you’re Blessed. Mtetar

  7. it’s looking amazing 🙂

  8. Lovely to have an update on your couch. It’s looking good.
