Our Broomstick Lace Collar tutorial (aka Road Trip) has reached its destination.

It was a short trip but I hope you have enjoyed each day and have mastered the broomstick crochet stitch.

I have learned several things: the way you take the loops off the long needle is important, try to be consistent, all loops should go in the same direction, and if you want a more lacier cloth you need to make the loops bigger.

The finishing of your collar is important too, I love the crab stitch, itย  makes ย your collar look like if you bought it from a designer, look at these two photographs:

apart from the bad lighting, the photograph on the left looks undone to me, when I add the crab stitch it looks much neater and professional, in my opinion.

Let us look at these photographs and see how a plain T-shirt can be made to look Fab ๐Ÿ™‚

It looks nicer right?

So let me know your take on this trip and any questions you might have, I hope I can answer them ๐Ÿ™‚

It was nice having you on this trip, See You Soon…
