TGIF 11/22/2013

Greetings and Salutations!!!

Hoping you are having a good morning and you are right where you want to be with your handmade gifts. I am not, Β but I am going to put in extra effort this weekend πŸ™‚

I have changed my mind once again (Β this is getting to be a habit I know, but I must) I am putting Little Pet away until I finish all my gifts, I am not getting too far stressing out over finishing her, so I need to put her aside, she is used to it…

Next, I can say I am still working on my RCΒ and he won’t be ready before 2013 comes to an end, either.

Changing subjects, as you know I want to be an “Aspiring Extreme Crochet Artist” whatever that means πŸ™‚Β Β so I need to learn difficult stitches so I can get into freeform crochet,

courtesy of google images.
If you look into the winding circles you will see a stitch that is hard to master and I really want to master it, I think it gives any project you are working on a very beautiful over the top look.
fabulous stuff. niftthriftΒ brought to my attention Mizzie MorawezΒ and she is an extreme crochet artist, her work is WOW worthy. I was blown away, again πŸ™‚
Well let me stop right here, set the alarm, crochet for one hour and return to do one more post… See You Soon……

  5. Is it the bullion stitch you are trying to master? It is a very tricky one; if you keep the loops loose, use a slippery hook, and a yarn with a little stiffness, apparently that makes it a little easier! πŸ™‚

  6. I’ve never heard of freeform crochet, but it looks amazing! That first image is breathtaking! And I love the little heart too! Thanks for following my blog. Hopefully we can keep up our motivation for crochet! =)

  9. Aww thanks for the shoutout! I’m blushing now, haha! I love the pics you found on google, they are amazing and I would love to do something like this as well. Does the stitch you mentioned have a name? And I assume its the extreme close up shot you show – the one with many “over stitches” as I call them? That brightly coloured heart is awesome. *cries* I wanna do that tooooooooo!
