BOBBIN LACE: NEVER!!

Bobbin Lace which is the Real Deal when it comes to Bruges Lace is a NO-NO, in my book. I think it is one of the hardest things I have seen in a very long time.

I must admit it is “out of this world” beautiful but No!! at least for now. This is an handkerchief made with a Cluny Bobbin Lace edging, I found at Avital and she is an expert.
Thanks to all my crafty friends who responded yesterday, I will eventually conquer Bruges, I really appreciate you.
I am leaving now, but I want to wish you a very happy Thursday!!!

  3. It’s magnificent to watch bobbling lace artisans, I love it! It’s quite popular in Portugal specially in a town called Peniche where they celebrate this art on the 3rd sunday of Jully.

      • Yes, there’s a school where one can learn how to do it. I believe it’s quite expensive but rewarding too, don´t you think? Good luck on your bruges lace crochet, it takes courage to start a project like that! My positive energy is with you! x
