Day 2 is here already. Did you get to finish yesterday’s homework?? if not, take your time, work at your own pace and enjoy the journey.

Ok so we have covered all the labeling on the bottle and now we are going to go a little more “open” with our work.

Start by chaining 1 and 1 half double crochet (HDC) for your first pair of HDC, and each pair is going into a loop of the previous row, then close the row with a slip stitch (SL).

Next, chain 8 and anchor with a SL in each space between a pair of HDC, this is the pattern we will use until we reach to the shoulder of the bottle, no need to close row, when you reach the beginning of the row just continue until you reach the point where the neck of the bottle starts.

At this point we need to slim down, so we will chain 2 and 1 double crochet (DC) for a pair of DC then chain 1 and repeat in each loop of previous row, close with a SL.

Next, we are going to taper off even more: chain 3 then DC in each space between 2DC, the pattern is 1 DC – 1 ch, repeat and close with a slip stitch.

This will be all for now, see you tomorrow.

It this for the wine bottles, I do think in going to work on one when I get a wine bottle. (Don’t normally drink wine, but I might just have to lol) I seen some really cool ones at the renascence festival.
