THANKSGIVING WEEK: REFLECTIONS..

In the USA we have a holiday that is dear to my heart: Thanksgiving.

It is a holiday where we eat lots of good food, give thanks for all the blessings in our life, see family and friends we haven’t seen in a long time, play games, watch parades, etc, and it is a time of reflection too.

I don’t watch the news almost ever, it is just too depressing for me, I prefer to visit with you on blogosphere and see what you are up to. I love to read about what makes you happy, what makes you unique.

But sometimes the news trickle down to me and then I just go into hibernation for a little. I won’t go into much detail but please Pray for Jefferson, Missouri, it is horrible.

My heart goes out to the mothers who have lost their sons in a senseless violent way, may God give them peace.

I have a son a teenage boy who is my heart, my pride and joy, he is a teenager he is not perfect, neither am I or you, I must add.  I want to see him grow up and bring positive changes to his place in this world…….

I want to thank each of you who stops by regularly and not so regularly 🙂 and who always cheer me on by your likes and your words: Thank You!!!!

I want you to know that I try to visit with you too, sometimes it takes me awhile, but I always visit.  I want to tell you this once or twice a year:

You Rock!! and I am very glad I Met You.

Well, this is all for today, do you celebrate Thanksgiving?? or a Holiday where you give thanks?? what are you thankful for this week?? Please share with me…..

  6. I am particularly thankful that our Creator cares enough to have spoken directly to a man, reminding us that we can (and must) change.
I do not understand the violence, wherever it may be in the world. What Good can come from it? Our Creator asks us to put an end to the never-ending cycle of revenge.
Happy Thanksgiving! May we spread Goodness. 🙂
