WHAT BOBBIN MEANS TO ME

We are in the Halloween season where bobbing for apples is a game that is practiced, well there is another bobbin I want to talk to you about and as Artisans I know you will enjoy this bobbin more πŸ™‚

It makes the most beautiful lace but it looks really hard and not everyone will master it, me included.. it blows my mind.

I love the look of this lace but I will leave it for the real Braveheart Artisan, doesn’t it look complicated?
it is still active in parts of Europe but it goes way back like WAYYY back  I hope someone keeps it alive, I know it won’t be me….
This is all for today Tuesday!!!! Lace Rocks!!!

  3. I was given a lace kit many years ago as a Christmas present and I started doing a little bit, but I found it very slow going and I lost my patience with it. Pity, as the final product is always beautiful and very versatile. I just enjoy crochet a lot more.
